Joe Biden shows no empathy towards Laken Riley’s tragic death: Letters

The Contention: Criticism of President Biden’s Response to Laken Riley by Miranda Devine.

An individual dares to defend calling the illegal-immigrant perpetrator who allegedly killed Riley “illegal” – which he is – while neglecting to apologize to Riley’s family for incorrectly naming her twice (“Joe on Laken: As callous as it gets,” Miranda Devine, March 10).

Riley’s life was allegedly taken by this perpetrator, and apologies are owed – not only to Riley’s family but also to animals for being unfairly placed in the same category as him. Once again, “Hidin’ Biden” prioritizes his far-left supporters over genuine Americans.

Miranda Devine is accurate. When pushed to mention Laken Riley’s name – even if uttered incorrectly – the Narcissist-in-Chief claimed to understand the sorrow of her parents due to his own personal losses.

While the loss of President Biden’s children was indeed tragic, it is incomparable to the brutal murder of Laken Riley – a direct consequence of Biden’s open invitation to criminals from third-world countries.
Biden always manipulates situations to focus on himself – from falsely stating for years that his wife was hit by a drunk driver to repeatedly asserting that his son Beau was lost in the war in Iraq.

Biden even went on to apologize for branding the alleged perpetrator as “illegal.”

During the State of the Union address, President Biden used the term “illegal” instead of “undocumented” when mentioning the suspect in Riley’s murder.

He then proceeded to apologize for labeling the suspect as “illegal.” To add to the offense, Biden never issued an apology to Riley’s family for mistakenly calling her “Lincoln.”
Lastly, there was no mention of the names of the 13 US soldiers who perished upon our withdrawal from Afghanistan.

President Biden certainly has his priorities skewed.

It is curious that The Post emphasized President Biden’s mispronunciation of Riley’s first name, the nursing student from Georgia allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant. While this was a regrettable error, the primary message of the speech, delivered with strength and authority, was disregarded.

President Biden apologized for referring to Jose Ibarra as “illegal.”

Joe Biden is cowardly. He failed to reach out to Riley’s parents after her murder. Additionally, he couldn’t even speak her name correctly, referring to her as “Lincoln.”
In contrast, former President Donald Trump contacted her parents, offering prayers and condolences.

Furthermore, the liberal media criticized Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene simply because she wore a MAGA hat and interrupted the president’s speech to demand the mention of Riley’s name.

Illegal, illegal, illegal.

I have said the word that accurately describes individuals entering this country illegally. President Biden’s apology for referring to the alleged perpetrator as “illegal” instead of “undocumented” was an insult to all Americans.

What is happening to this once great nation? At the very least, we should appreciate Biden’s reference to “Lincoln Riley” in his State of the Union address.

We are governed by a mentally unfit individual who prioritizes himself over the citizens of his country.

Laken Riley’s name isn’t difficult to pronounce, yet Biden called her “Lincoln Riley” during his State of the Union address. Had Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene not prompted Biden to mention her name, he likely would have omitted her entirely. After all, she wasn’t part of the script.

As pointed out by Miranda Devine, Biden lacks empathy in the face of tragedy. Should he acknowledge such a tragedy, he manages to turn it back to himself and his own misfortunes. A genuine apology is beyond his capabilities.
