Joe Biden stirs controversy with his approach to the Israel-Hamas conflict
Al-Quds Day was observed last Friday.
During the celebration, protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, were heard chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” A speaker named Tarek Bazzi labeled the United States as one of the “rottenest countries” in the world, despite the fact that he freely expresses support for criminals and terrorists in the open society afforded to him.
He declared, “It’s the entire system that has to go,” to the cheers of the audience, which presumably included American citizens.
As observed by commentator Seth Mandel, incidents reminiscent of Charlottesville occur frequently in America, yet receive little attention from the left.
It is widely acknowledged that many progressives either implicitly or explicitly support such acts of violence and hatred.
Tehran origins
Al-Quds Day, likened to an international Islamic gathering reminiscent of Nuremberg, was initially conceived by Ayatollah Khomeini and his associates during the Islamic Revolution, preceding the 1979 incident where Iranians killed eight US servicemen and held 66 American hostages.
Participants in these events are not simply expressing criticism of Israel’s policies, but rather openly advocate for the death or displacement of all Jewish individuals in the country.
Where is the outrage from individuals who are quick to denounce any criticism of figures like George Soros?
Perhaps they fear being labeled “Islamophobic,” thereby avoiding confronting the glaring antisemitism present in these protests.
There are incidents where antisemitic activists supporting Hamas engage in vandalism, threats against Jewish individuals, glorification of martyrs, and disruption of events.
Where are the government officials who raise concerns about individuals wearing MAGA hats potentially posing a domestic terror threat?
It seems that radicalized Muslims are exempt from scrutiny in these narratives.
If parents advocating for their children’s education are smeared as domestic terrorists, surely those chanting “Death to America” should not be overlooked.
Although unconventional, it would be necessary.
Ironically, the same individuals attending Al-Quds Day rallies or contributing to publications like The Washington Post are the demographic that Joe Biden is attempting to appease in his 2024 presidential campaign under the guise of “saving democracy.”
A delegation of Democrats is dispatched to appease these supporters of terror and barbarism, often quite literally.
However, Democrats may face disappointment as these individuals will likely not be satisfied until there is action taken against Tel Aviv, as echoed in the chants calling for a ceasefire in New York.
To secure these votes, the president himself now echoes Hamas propaganda, a sentiment shared by much of the media who have taken the side of the terrorist group.
Despite numerous ceasefire rejections by Hamas, Democrats continue to demand that Israel unilaterally halt its efforts against those who hold American hostages.
Such a demand would not be made of any other nation, nor would it be accepted if imposed on the United States.
Biden’s agenda
Even this is not sufficient.
Reports indicate that the Biden administration, propagating myths about Jewish extremism, plans to mandate special labels for products made by Jews in Judea and Samaria.
Such actions are reprehensible.
It appears that Biden will not cease his efforts until there is a West Bank free of Jews, or until his constituents chanting “Death to America” are content.
Biden is known for his flexibility in adopting positions to secure votes.
He is now surrounded by advisers from the Obama era and sympathizers of Hamas, who have long advocated for aligning with the mullahs of Iran as a counterforce to the capitalist Israelis.
With Democrats like Chuck Schumer sacrificing the interests of Jews for political gains in Dearborn, there is now little holding back progressive Democrats from normalizing antisemitism prevalent in the far left.
While this may not resonate with everyone, it is crucial to remember that those who chant “Death to Israel” inevitably desire the same fate for America as well.
