Joe Biden’s excess of vacation days show that the president has been working part-time and has caused damage to the country.
Wait, how many days has Joe Biden been on vacation?
Hand it to the president — he managed to wreck the economy, ignite a global conflagration and open the US border while basically working half-time.
Yes, that’s right: Biden has taken 532 vacation days in less than four years in office, about 40% of the days he’s been president.
Compare that to the gold standard of recent presidential hard work, albeit with terrible policy ideas: Jimmy Carter, who spent 5% of his tenure on vacay.
And yes, we know Donald Trump spent about 26% of his presidency on vacation.
Still waaaaaaaaaay too much. But Trump delivered the best economy in decades plus global peace, not destructive inflation at home and serial humiliations abroad.
Grimmer still, Joe — whose entire presidency is premised on the idea that he’s somehow standing up for the little guy — took what amounts to 48 years’ worth of vacation for the average American worker.
Is there a better symbol of contemporary progressive politics than Joe asleep on his beach chair while soaring prices punish Americans and war rages in Ukraine and Israel?
As for the lackeys in the White House who claim Biden was actually working on these jaunts to Delaware and beyond: hah!
We now know that Joe has been barely functional for much of his time in office: “working” from 10 to 4 on the days he’s not off.
Can Americans really be expected to believe Mr. “Sharp as a Tack” was on call as he lay passed out on a chaise longue?
The one good thing about Biden’s massive R&R rackup: First, look at the world he’s leaving behind.
Iran empowered. Millions upon millions of illegal immigrants flooding across the border. And prices seemingly stuck more than 20% above where they were before he came into office.
And then imagine how much worse it’d be if he’d actually been on the job the whole time.
