Kamala Harris fails to outshine Biden as a candidate
President Trump captured the world’s attention on Thursday night from the convention in Milwaukee.
His account of the recent attempt on his life was honest, poignant, and unforgettable.
Trump’s successful efforts to unify his party and promise to unify the country had a lasting impact beyond the walls of the Milwaukee convention center.
Meanwhile, another Presidential contender, Kamala Harris, was stepping up her game in Joe Biden’s absence due to COVID concerns and the growing doubts within the Democratic Party about his candidacy.
Earlier that afternoon, Harris addressed a crowd at Westover High School in North Carolina.
However, her performance fell short. Kamala’s stage presence, fake enthusiasm, and attempts at connecting with the audience were lacking, reminding many why President Trump could have the upper hand in the upcoming election.
Her remarks about JD Vance and the conservative think-tank’s “Project 2025” only seemed to alienate some of the audience and missed the mark entirely.
As Kamala struggled to make an impact, her abrupt shift into a Southern accent further added to the cringe-worthy nature of her speech.
In the end, her message about freedom, unity, and standing up to big corporations failed to resonate with the crowd as many signaled their preferences for a country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law.
Ultimately, it became apparent that if the Democrats want to win in November, Kamala cannot be at the top of the ticket, while the Republicans may actually benefit from her continued presence.
