Kamala Harris’s Plan to Support Big Labor by Hurting Workers and Businesses

Kamala Harris has been vague and inconsistent in her policy plans, except when it comes to labor issues, where she has consistently supported policies that give union officials significant control over workers and their finances.

One of Harris’ key stances is advocating for the repeal of state Right to Work laws, which prevent union bosses from forcing workers to pay dues as a condition of employment. Despite the widespread support for these laws among Americans and union members, Harris has been a vocal opponent of them.

In a case before the US Supreme Court in 2016, Harris defended union bosses’ power to compel teachers to pay dues, showing her disregard for worker freedom. She has also supported the Pro Act, which goes even further in granting union bosses control over workers and businesses.

Harris’ views on labor policies reveal a preference for union domination over workers and businesses, disregarding the impact on individual workers’ rights and freedoms. Her push for sectoral bargaining and other coercive measures further demonstrates her allegiance to union bosses over workers’ best interests.

Mark Mix, president of the National Right to Work Foundation and National Right to Work Committee, warns that Harris’ labor agenda is detrimental to American workers, as it sacrifices their freedoms in favor of empowering union bosses.
