Kamala’s Assertion of Border Triumph is a Delusional Deception
“L’audace, l’audace, toujours l’audace.”
These are the words spoken by George C. Scott’s Patton in the movie named after him, when his comrades wanted a day of rest during the Sicilian campaign.
No one would mistake Kamala Harris for General Patton, or even George C. Scott, but her recent approach to immigration reflects Patton’s call for “audacity, audacity, always audacity.”
After being involved in a significant failure at the border, a less skilled politician might try to change the subject or deflect blame elsewhere.
A politician with some integrity would at least acknowledge that mistakes were made before moving on to other topics.
It would take quite a bit of audacity to make claims that are so obviously false, especially knowing that the media might not accept them without question.
Claiming that Harris has been successful on the border while painting Donald Trump as a failure is simply dishonest.
It’s important to remember that the Trump administration implemented measures that significantly reduced illegal crossings, only for the Biden administration to reverse them and see unprecedented levels of illegal immigration.
Despite recent decreases, the numbers are still high, and manipulation tactics have been used to redirect illegal immigrants into parole programs to give an illusion of legitimacy to their crossings.
The truth is, Harris has always held left-leaning positions on immigration, even before becoming vice president.
At a recent rally in Atlanta, Harris declared that she could put her record against Trump’s any day of the week on the issue of immigration, which is a bold claim given the reality of the situation.
Her ad campaign tries to paint her as the one fixing the broken immigration system while accusing Trump of trying to stop her, which is a blatant lie.
Despite the lack of fact checks or challenges to her claims, the media has allowed Harris to continue pushing her narrative without much scrutiny.
It seems Harris is hoping that her audacious tactics will be rewarded, especially considering the favorable media attention she has received recently.
