Latino battleground voters trust Trump more on immigration than Biden due to concerns about open borders
Contrary to the stereotypes created by far-left Democrats to justify their open-borders policies, Latino voters do not behave as expected.
Recent data reveals that in battleground states, ex-president Donald Trump and the GOP are more trusted on immigration compared to Joe Biden and the Democrats, leading 41% to 38%.
These findings are not surprising. A new Siena poll shows that even in deep blue New York, 83% of all voters consider the migrant influx a serious issue, with 91% of Latino voters sharing the same sentiment.
Latino voters, like all other American groups, desire good jobs, safe communities, and a sensible border policy.
It is misguided to assume otherwise based on stereotypes and racial biases. This mindset led to the implementation of disastrous policies under Biden’s administration.
As a result, illegal immigration has reached unprecedented levels, straining border towns and major cities alike.
Now, Team Biden is experiencing the consequences of their actions, with their misguided approach backfiring politically.
Despite attempts to appear tough on immigration, Biden’s policies still fail to address the root issues. Instead, he continues to entertain the idea of massive new amnesties.
The irony is evident as Biden’s left-leaning border policies, intended to secure Latino support, are backfiring and alienating both Latino voters and the general public.
Meanwhile, Trump seems to be benefiting from this political shift.
These events serve as a reminder that racialized politics, as embraced by Democrats, is not only morally wrong but also impractical and detrimental to governance.
Perhaps a significant defeat in the upcoming elections will prompt a reevaluation, but that remains uncertain.
