Letters Regarding Drones in New Jersey

The Concern: The government’s unclear response to unidentified drones sighted nationwide.

There has been extensive media attention on the drones appearing throughout the country, yet we continue to lack clear answers or explanations regarding the situation (“Trump has a drone to pick,” Dec. 17).

I can’t help but question what really lies behind this media frenzy.

Given the current administration’s apparent efforts to undermine the seamless transition of power to the incoming Trump administration, I am concerned they might take actions that could be significantly harmful to our nation and our future president.

It seems that there’s no issue with drones comparable in size to cars flying over President-elect Donald Trump’s residence and military facilities in New Jersey, yet an emergency response would be triggered if a child attempted to fly a kite on Pennsylvania Avenue.

President Biden has decided to send Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to calm the American public.

Well, that doesn’t appear to be effective.

I’m just so grateful for his guidance regarding potential aerial intruders, especially given his stellar history addressing other types of invaders.

Drones the size of compact cars hover over our cities, and yet he argues that nothing is out of the ordinary with these airspace breaches.

“Everything is fine”: That’s the same type of denial he used regarding the Chinese spy balloon that traversed the U.S. for over a week back in February.

He assures the American populace that the border is secure — how did that turn out?

Mayorkas’ misinformation tactics never cease.

We observed drones in mid-November and early December over New Jersey.

However, as far as I know, there were no drones on Thanksgiving Day.

What does that indicate?

The Concern: President Biden’s low-profile final weeks in the Oval Office leading up to January.

President Biden’s approval rating rests on his shoulders (“ ‘Hollow Man’ Joe derelict in last days,” Michael Goodwin, Dec. 14).

He has remained passive as party members and his politicized Justice Department misled the American public, deepening national divisions, and targeted political opponents, families, and essentially any citizen who dared challenge the progressive agendas being pushed by the Democrats.

All this transpired while he allowed illegal migrants to flood our borders, crippling the economy, jeopardizing our national security, and tarnishing America’s image globally.

Breaking News: Joe Biden has been “derelict” throughout his presidency.

These final months merely highlight how he has truly given up. Hashtag: worst president ever.

In his initial month in office, Biden’s own party penned a letter, initiated by Rep. Ted Lieu and signed by over 30 Democrats, urging him to relinquish control of the nuclear codes.

If the Democrats had confidence in his abilities, would that have occurred?

Biden once boasted about his connections with global leaders.

I wonder if those leaders are still taking his calls these days.
