Lil Yachty’s Comments on BLM Scam Are Completely Justified

Lil Yachty has a point: The hip-hop star recently stated in a YouTube interview that the neo-Marxist organization Black Lives Matter is a scam.

His host, social media influencer Quenlin Blackwell, was surprised.

However, Yachty confidently reiterated his stance, declaring “BLM was literally a scam” and pointing out that its leaders “had purchased mansions” with the tens of millions contributed to their antisemitic, anti-white, anti-American initiative.

To summarize: The organization significantly fueled the 2020 George Floyd protests and became prominent during the era of the Great Awokening, when major corporations lavished it with excessive payments and politicians LITERALLY bowed to its agenda.

Additionally, it even received over $30,000 in taxpayer funds through a Small Business Administration loan, despite at least one group member justifying looting as a kind of “reparations.”

Investigative journalism (including reports by The Post’s own Isabel Vincent) showed that the group spent at least $12 million on high-end properties, distributed substantial payments to acquaintances rather than allied grassroots organizations and even spent tens of thousands on private flights for head Patrisse Cullors due to “security” concerns.

It also compensated a company owned by Damion Turner, the father of Cullors’ child, nearly a million dollars, which is almost five times more than it contributed to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

After these unsettling disclosures, the organization cried “racism” and spiraled into chaos as its dubious operations, including a complete lack of transparency and a questionable failure to submit necessary financial reports, were exposed.

Support from the wealthy and influential faded; now, the left is fully in “pretend it never happened” mode.

Thus, Yachty deserves commendation.

Both for expressing the obvious — that BLM took from the very people it claimed to help — and for forcing its remaining supporters to acknowledge this reality.
