Liz Cheney’s Jan. 6 text messages reveal opportunistic motives behind ‘save democracy’ hysteria
More unethical actions have been uncovered in relation to Nancy Pelosi’s highly partisan Jan. 6 hearings, involving Liz Cheney and star witness Cassidy Hutchinson.
Hutchinson, a former White House aide, claimed that Trump had “lunged” at the wheel of his limousine to join protesters who alleged the 2020 election was rigged.
It is important to note that Hutchinson did not witness this herself, but rather heard about it from others, and her testimony was contradicted by multiple witnesses.
Truth seems to hold no value for these individuals.
Recent revelations suggest Liz Cheney played a role in pushing Hutchinson to provide sensational testimony behind the scenes.
Cheney, as a sitting member of Congress, communicated with Hutchinson indirectly and directly, knowing that coordinating testimony without Hutchinson’s counsel present was inappropriate.
Around the same time as these communications, Hutchinson changed lawyers, leading to a shift in testimony and claims against Trump based on second- and third-hand accounts.
Cheney was aware of the dubious nature of these actions, yet did not mention them in her self-praising book about investigating the Jan. 6 events.
In an interview, Cheney stated that anyone attempting to influence testimony should be prosecuted for witness tampering.
The truth continues to come to light, exposing unethical behavior by Cheney & Co.
These actions highlight the self-serving nature of those claiming to be defenders of democracy.
