Media lunacy over Hunter deal, Pelosi’s ‘planet-saving’ IRA and more

Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions

This claim:

“The prosecutor has gone out of his way to charge [Hunter Biden with] everything that could have been charged.”

— MSNBC’s Frank Figliuzzi, Tuesday

We say: Give us a break!

More like the prosecutor went out of his way to avoid charges against Hunter — letting him slide on influence-peddling, foreign-lobbying violations, money-laundering and more.

No wonder a Reuters/Ipsos poll found half of Americans (including a third of Democrats) think Hunter got preferential treatment.

Still, CNN denied this was a “sweetheart deal.” ABC’s Sonny Hostin insisted the charges show “no one is above the law . . . not even the president’s son.” Talk about covering for the Bidens.

This remark:

“[A news article says men] think they can beat Serena Williams in tennis . . . And it’s just not the case. She is stronger than them.”

— Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson, Wednesday

We say: Sorry, Kelley Robinson. As All-American female college swimmer Riley Gaines notes, female tennis greats Serena and Venus Williams both lost to the 203rd-ranked male player in 1998.

Sure, some women can beat some men in some sports on some days.

But on average, men are bigger and stronger, and it’s downright nutty to think it’s fair (and safe!) to let them compete against women.

This rant:

“You [Republicans] look miserable . . . Instead of reversing what we did on the IRA to save the planet . . . you’re wasting time.”

— Nancy Pelosi, Wednesday

We say: Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) may have thought GOPers looked “miserable” as they censured her fellow Californian and Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff, for his repeated lies during the Russia collusion hoax.

Yet she was the one who looks absolutely ridiculous: The Inflation Reduction Act saves the planet? Please. It doesn’t even reduce inflation!

This tweet:

We say: You can’t blame People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals for trying to play the “supremacy” card.

After all, the left constantly juices up its base by blaming “white supremacy” for every ill.

Yes, PETA might’ve meant human supremacy over animals. But then, why do animals eat other animals?

Are they “supremacists” too? Meat has been a staple of man’s diet from our species’ earliest days; there’s nothing wrong — or “supremacist” — about it. (Besides, humans are superior to animals, no?)
