MSNBC anchors out of touch, laugh at immigration concerns
President Trump should express his gratitude to this dreadful trio during his November acceptance speech.
On Super Tuesday, MSNBC’s anchors Jen Psaki, Joy Reid, and Rachel Maddow nonchalantly belittled Virginia GOP primary voters’ concerns regarding immigration. Psaki mentioned that she lives in Virginia and immigration was the main issue, which prompted a chuckle from Reid. Maddow jokingly added, “Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia, a very contested area.” The three anchors shared a laugh at the expense of the voters.
They completely disregarded the presence of the MS-13 gang in Virginia, with members being convicted of heinous crimes including murder. Despite these facts, the MSNBC anchors continued to mock GOP voters, showcasing their disconnect from reality and potentially paving the way for Trump’s re-election.
The criticism extended to “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, who distorted the migrant crisis to make a snarky joke at Mayor Adams’ expense. The real impact of immigration, the strain on resources, and the rise in crime are being ignored by these media personalities.
Illegal immigration is no longer limited to border states; it affects every state, against the will of its citizens. The crisis has economic and crime repercussions that are being downplayed by those in media and entertainment circles.
Instead of addressing these serious issues, elitist media members choose to mock and belittle concerns of average Americans. This disconnect from reality only serves to strengthen Trump’s appeal to disenfranchised voters who feel unheard and neglected by the political establishment.
Despite personal feelings towards Trump, his ability to listen to and validate the concerns of the neglected voter base sets him apart. The dismissive attitudes of the media and Democratic leadership only contribute to Trump’s appeal.
The media’s refusal to listen and understand the grievances of the American people is echoed in the elitist portrayal of Trump supporters as white supremacists. This refusal to acknowledge the real concerns of the populace may have consequences that the media elite fail to grasp.
As the elitist cackles continue, the importance of addressing the concerns of all Americans, regardless of ethnicity or political affiliation, becomes increasingly clear. Ignoring these concerns will only fuel the flames of discontent among voters.
