New York’s Antisemitism Shocks Family of American Hostage in Gaza
Amid the turmoil in Kathy Hochul’s New York, one troubling issue stands out – her tolerance for allowing racism and bigotry to flourish in the city.
Recent news reported another American citizen falling victim to Hamas violence.
Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a California native, was held captive in Gaza for almost a year after being abducted from the Nova music festival in Israel on October 7th.
Tragically, as the Israeli Defense Forces attempted a rescue, Hamas executed Hersh and five other hostages.
Following this devastating news, a pro-Hamas rally took place in New York, with participants glorifying violence and terror while brandishing Hamas flags.
These flag-bearing individuals concealed their identities, illustrating the disturbing climate in Hochul’s New York where supporting a known terrorist organization like Hamas is deemed acceptable.
Jewish New Yorkers have endured a year of intimidation, anti-Jewish graffiti, and poster vandalism, culminating in a recent incident at CUNY’s City College where Jewish students were targeted and verbally abused by individuals affiliated with “Students for Justice in Palestine” and other hate groups.
As the Neutra family shared their story, it became evident that the rise of antisemitism in New York has created a hostile environment for Jewish Americans, with propaganda fueling misconceptions about the ongoing plight of American hostages held by terrorist groups like Hamas.
Despite the challenges, the Neutra family remains steadfast in their quest for justice and the safe return of their son, emphasizing the urgent need for awareness and solidarity in combating hate and violence.
Every decent American should stand against such atrocities and join in the fight for justice for Omer Neutra and all American hostages subjected to terrorism and violence.
