No more excuses for dishonest Democrats and biased media protecting incompetent Joe Biden

They deceived you.

And following Joe Biden’s disastrous showing in the initial presidential debate against Donald Trump, there is no amount of gaslighting or falsehood that can trick voters again.

Biden’s mental sharpness, never exceptional, has significantly declined over the past few years.

It’s not his fault.

He’s elderly.

Time affects everyone.

However, it’s evident now that Democrats and the compliant mainstream media worked to hide Biden’s mental and physical decline from the public.

The cover-up started when Biden was campaigning for president from his home in 2020, and it has only intensified since then.

When Robert Hur excused Biden for mishandling classified documents, portraying him as an “old man with a poor memory,” the entire left criticized the special counsel’s integrity and professionalism.

The White House accused Hur of making “unnecessary and inappropriate criticisms.”

Biden supporter Joe Scarborough, who had been insisting for months that the president was the sharpest individual he’d ever encountered, accused Hur of having “Trump University” ties and labeled the report as “garbage.”

They knew Hur was correct.

Why do you think Merrick Garland is refusing to release audio of Biden’s confused interview with Hur, during which he forgot when his son had passed away?

Where is Hur’s apology?

For that matter, where does The Post stand?

Following the president’s odd exit at the G-7, where he had to be rescued by Italian Prime Minister Georgi, and his incidents at an LA fundraiser and a Juneteenth event, The Post faced backlash for suggesting he was experiencing mental decline.

Is there anyone who questions the accuracy of The Post’s reporting now?

Just last week, major media outlets like NBC News and The New York Times made a coordinated effort to convince voters that a video of Biden freezing up at the fundraiser and being escorted off stage by former president Barack Obama was fake news.

What a case of projection.

The White House also dismissed videos of the president wandering off at the G7 summit in Italy or having trouble sitting down at a D-Day memorial in France as “cheap fakes.”

Unethical media fact-checkers helped Democrats deceive the public by giving a false sense of journalistic credibility to this harmful lie.

Thursday’s debate exposed them all.

In just a few days, the entire leftist punditry has shifted from praising Biden’s extraordinary mental sharpness to insisting that Democrats consider replacing the president as the nominee.

They have no shame.

Democrats aren’t panicking because they recently learned that Biden isn’t up to the task.

They are panicking because everyone else has realized it.

There’s no turning back.

Replacing Biden has always seemed like a far-fetched idea.

It presents a logistical nightmare for Democrats.

Moreover, there are numerous benefits to the power of incumbency.

However, Biden’s performance changes the equation for Democrats.

Or more accurately, the truth does.

It’s still a major obstacle, obviously.

First, there is the challenge of persuading the president, who has a significant ego, to step down – no easy feat.

Would Democrats really resort to the 25th Amendment and declare Biden incapable of carrying out his presidential duties and powers?

It appears improbable.

The unintended political consequences could be severe.

Then there’s the issue of who would take over.

There would undoubtedly be a struggle among top Democrats for the nomination.

Why wouldn’t they support Kamala Harris, who was placed on the ticket for this exact scenario?

And if not Kamala, why are Democrats discarding the first black woman vice president?

Whoever it may be, how can voters ever trust a political media that not only failed in its duty to the American people but also became a propaganda machine for an incompetent president?
