Protesters at Columbia University branded ‘barbaric’ after causing chaos with anti-Israel demonstrations
Feeling unsafe walking the Columbia University campus on Passover eve in 2024, Jews feared the risk of assault from unchecked supporters of genocidal jihadism and the destruction of Israel, America, and the Judeo-Christian West. This is a complete disgrace.
It is a result of the progressives’ infiltration and influence in institutions over time.
Without a significant change, not only Jews but all Americans will suffer the consequences of handing over schools to those who aim to destroy the very civilization they come from.
Our top academic institutions, including my alma mater, have become breeding grounds for left-wing radicalism that rejects the principles of liberty, justice, virtue, and excellence upon which America was built.
Jew-hatred has been increasingly prominent in this radicalism, influenced by the collaboration between the Western left and Islamic supremacists as explored in “American Ingrate: Ilhan Omar and the Progressive-Islamist Takeover of the Democratic Party.”
The Alliance between Islamists and Leftists
The Western left, under the guise of diversity and equity, has labeled the Jewish minority as oppressors, portraying Israel and America as evil occupiers. To these ideologues, justice and equity demand undermining Israel and America while elevating their opponents, including Islamic supremacists.
This alliance between leftists and Islamic supremacists seeks to overthrow the free world and replace it with their totalitarian ideologies, with Jew-hatred being a unifying force.
This reality came to light when Israel responded to Hamas attacks on Oct. 7.
The conditions allowing Hamas supporters to freely occupy campuses are a result of elite schools’ inconsistent application of rules and discipline, creating a safe space for radicals.
Greed also influences higher education, with foreign funding and influence playing a significant role in shaping academic agendas.
To address these issues, institutions like Columbia must take a stand against radicalism, expel students promoting jihad, reject foreign funding, and dismantle divisive infrastructures. The government should also intervene to enforce proper behavior and deport foreign students engaging in harmful activities.
The Choice Ahead
If Americans do not demand changes in policies and personnel in academia and government, the consequences will be dire for both Jews and non-Jews. The current crisis at Columbia is a stark reminder of the choices we face as a country. Will we succumb to the barbarism promoted by genocidal-jihadist supporters or defend the values of our civilization?
