Reckless and perilous border policies under President Biden: Letters
The Concern: Criticism of President Biden’s Border Policy by Miranda Devine
Commenting on Miranda Devine’s column criticizing President Biden’s border policies (“Joe’s cynical border politics put US in peril,” Miranda Devine, June 20), I believe the former President Donald Trump’s team should pay attention to these insightful ideas for debate preparation. The article accurately presents Trump’s efforts to address border issues and contrasts them with Biden’s actions that worsened the situation.
This upcoming debate will be a challenging experience for Team Biden, comparable to an unwanted trip to the dentist. Excellent writing that effectively highlights critical issues.

President Biden should be held accountable for the numerous migrant crimes against American citizens, including killings and rapes.
Unfortunately, more crimes are expected due to his failure to enforce immigration laws and allowing large numbers of migrants to stay in the country at the expense of Americans, leading to crime and disorder.
His primary responsibility is to protect American citizens, yet he appears to prioritize illegal immigrants who perceive Americans as easy targets. I eagerly await the day when Biden’s term is over.

Commendations for shedding light on Biden’s border policies.
Immigration laws were established to safeguard the nation from individuals intent on causing harm. However, we now mourn another migrant murder victim, Jocelyn Nungaray.
When will Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas start enforcing existing laws?
The system only malfunctioned after Biden assumed office.
He and Mayorkas have transformed the Department of Homeland Security into a cynical and contradictory entity. How many more innocent Americans must suffer due to this?

I concur that underestimating President Biden and his advisors would be a mistake (“Don’t fall for Joe’s ‘li’l old me?’ act,” Miranda Devine, June 17).
While Biden may not be considered the brightest among his congressional peers, he has earned respect for his political acumen throughout his lengthy career. Despite deceiving constituents and the press, he excels at delivering messages in a down-to-earth manner, particularly on border issues.
The column elucidates one of the severe consequences of Biden’s lenient border policy, such as the arrest of an illegal migrant on murder charges fleeing his home country — just one of many horrors stemming from Biden’s lax enforcement of immigration laws.

The escalating toll of criminal activities committed by migrants who cross the border illegally continues.
Furthermore, the increase in fentanyl-related deaths is alarming as cartels exploit the open border for drug smuggling. Despite these grim realities, the Biden administration and liberal media often overlook the victims and dismiss conservative media reports as “fearmongering.”

By supporting President Biden, you endorse his open-border stance and his border approach.
Biden’s actions suggest a desperate attempt by Democrats to secure voting rights and a path to citizenship by 2028. This isn’t about compassion or improving the lives of undocumented immigrants.
Voting Democrat in November means voting for an unsafe and uncertain future for America.

President Biden could effectively close the border in a day by deploying the military, but despite numerous requests, no action is taken, leading to an increase in crime.
