Rep. Dan Goldman denounces the existence of Hunter Biden’s laptop: Correspondence
The Issue: Rep. Dan Goldman’s denial of the Hunter Biden hard drive evidence during a House hearing.
When in the same week, you hear Rep. Dan Goldman question the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop and Gov. Gavin Newsom spin numbers to make California sparkle, we have a serious problem in this country (“Newsom and Goldman show Democrats’ insulting lies never stop,” Editorial, Dec. 1).
Goldman, a representative from New York, forgets that New Yorkers see right through him.
He has lost his reputation and credibility.
From here on out, the Democratic Party in New York should work harder to vet the candidates representing it.
We the people deserve nothing less, since we have endured an inferior political product way past its expiration date.

Goldman is mystifying to me.
He still insists that the copy of the hard drive given to The Post was manipulated, arguing that additional files had been added by someone after Hunter dropped the computer off. Yet he has shown absolutely no proof of this happening.
He, as an elected representative, should pull his head out of the hole he dug himself into and look around.
After all that has been written and investigated, he only continues embarrassing himself.

It reminds me of what comedian Lenny Bruce once said: If you are caught in the act of adultery, just deny, deny, deny.

He will say anything to further the agenda of the far left.
This latest example — questioning the validity of the Hunter Biden laptop — is just par for the course for this idiot.
The entire world, including Hunter Biden himself, knows that the computer and its contents are his.
Goldman, like so many of the far-left Democrats, has no integrity. It’s all about power for these people, the truth be damned.
Sadly, some people are so gullible as to actually believe Goldman. And that exemplifies the sad state of politics in our country.

The Issue: Iranian proxies’ attack on the USS Carney destroyer warship off the coast of Yemen.
I’m sure Iran realizes that it’s treading on thin ice by firing on US Navy ships in the Red Sea (“USS Carney, several commercial ships attacked in the Red Sea: Pentagon,” Dec. 3).
What its government needs to realize, however, is that it can only push the envelope so far.
Iranian intelligence probably has a good idea of what the US Navy is capable of. If Iran doesn’t stop pushing, however, it can face the United States’ wrath.
If the right people were in charge in the White House, Iran would have gotten a message already.
Right now, we look like a weak nation, fearful of retaliation. Do we need to see our sailors injured or worse before we send a message?

It is beginning to border on the ridiculous how Iranian proxies continue to attack US forces with impunity in the Middle East, knowing full well that President Biden has neither the backbone nor the courage to stamp out these acts of aggression.
It is time to hold those responsible for these blatant acts fully liable. Biden merely saying “don’t” time after time has proven to be as strong as former President Barack Obama drawing a “red line in the sand.”
It is time to stand tall and show foreign actors that you do not mess with America or its allies.
