Rep. Jasmine Crockett Continues to Advocate for Violence; NPR Leader Refutes Claims of Network Bias and More
A Chronicle of Disturbing Misinformation and Alarming Delusions
Recent Attacks:
“[Sen. Ted Cruz] needs to be hit hard, seriously.” — Rep. Jasmine Crockett, Sunday
Our response: Crockett’s representatives insist she was using metaphorical language and is against any form of violence.
However, the Texas congresswoman continues to make similarly provocative statements.
Elon Musk should be “taken down.” It’s essential to “punch” those in the Republican party. On Tuesday, she was filmed attempting to seize a reporter’s cellphone. What a way to advocate against violence!
This Evasion:
“I don’t think there’s any political bias here.” — NPR CEO Katherine Maher, Wednesday
Our take: No bias? NPR dismissed The Post’s entirely accurate 2020 report about Hunter Biden’s laptop and supported the Russia Hoax narrative.
The network downplayed claims regarding a COVID lab leak, and its Washington editorial team has consisted of 87 registered Democrats and zero Republicans.
Maher herself labeled Donald Trump a “racist” and “sociopath.” But, sure, there’s no bias there…
This Statement:
“A woman’s paycheck remains less than what a man earns.” — Gov. Kathy Hochul, Tuesday
Our view: This long-standing complaint is designed to imply that women continue to face discrimination in the workplace.
However, research indicates that factors like a woman’s responsibilities in parenting explain nearly all disparities in pay today between genders. When controlling for these factors, the gap virtually disappears.
This Declaration:
“These modifications are genuine.” — Columbia interim president Katrina Armstrong, Tuesday
Our response: In an attempt to secure federal funding, Armstrong sought to assure Team Trump that Columbia was indeed implementing the promised measures to combat antisemitism on campus.
Yet she and other top officials privately downplayed any actual changes. Armstrong told faculty that the school was making “no changes” to its mask policy and that its Middle East Studies department would not be placed under “receivership.”
Armstrong was clearly manipulating the truth—either to her faculty or (more likely) to Team Trump and the general public. Shameful.
