Supporting the whistleblowers who revealed information about the Bidens
Presented by the $20 million defamation lawsuit filed on Friday by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler against Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell, the inherent bias of the American legal system against individuals is evident.
This type of lawsuit typically costs over $1 million, and facing a formidable opponent like Lowell can deter many legal professionals from taking the case.
Fortunately, after difficulties finding suitable representation, whistleblower advocacy group Empower Oversight enlisted the help of defamation lawyer Mitchell Landsberg, known for clients like billionaire Steve Wynn.
It is apparent that the legal industry is largely influenced by partisan Democrat firms who fund lawsuits against Donald Trump and his supporters, often providing pro bono services to politically advantageous individuals or bowing to Democratic pressure. In contrast, there are few conservative benefactors to support legal battles for non-Democrats.
Despite the potential success of Shapley and Ziegler’s case, financial constraints nearly prevented them from pursuing legal action, relying on donations due to their modest incomes as public servants.
“Whistleblowers often face well-funded smear campaigns in retaliation,” according to Empower founder Jason Foster, a former Chief Investigative Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee.
A crowdfunding effort through Defendwhistleblowers.com has been set up by Empower Oversight to level the playing field and provide adequate resources to fight false accusations against whistleblowers.
Shapley and Ziegler blew the whistle on the obstruction of a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden by the Justice Department, resulting in their careers being ruined and reputations damaged due to accusations of leaking confidential tax information by Lowell.
The lawsuit alleges retaliatory actions by Lowell in response to the whistleblowers’ disclosures, asserting that Shapley and Ziegler acted with integrity to expose corruption in the investigation of Hunter Biden.
The disclosures made by the whistleblowers to Congress shed light on misconduct within the federal government and prevented Hunter Biden from evading accountability for his actions.
Shapley emphasizes the importance of truth and defending his reputation against false accusations, not only for himself but for all whistleblowers who may face public attacks.
Anti-Trump comic book
An anti-Trump comic book containing false information about the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot is being distributed to public high schools and libraries in Pennsylvania as a political ploy before the presidential election.
The comic, titled “1/6: A Graphic Novel,” funded by the left-wing Kettering Foundation, depicts a scenario where Trump’s “insurrection” was successful, leading to authoritarian rule and violence against journalists.
This blatant political propaganda intended to influence students before an election raises concerns about election interference and the need for limitations on such manipulative tactics.
