The decline of common sense is endangering civilization

Physicians check blood pressure, cholesterol scores, blood sugar levels or weight as indicators of overall health during yearly check-ups.

Can we use the same logic to gauge the health of our free and enlightened societies?

What does it mean for a civilization to die?

A civilization dies when it succumbs to virulent ideas and pathologies that destroy our commitment to reason, logic, science, evidence-based thinking, and common sense.

If the West believes in A, B, and C — and a competing belief system seeks to destroy A, B, and C — it is entirely moral to reject this belief system within our midst.
