The Left’s Fabrications Continue to Multiply Despite Being Debunked
Left-wing anti-Trump activists continue to propagate misinformation in a frantic attempt to legitimize their distorted perspective.
Last week in Chicago, local Democratic officials incited alarm with claims of ICE agents appearing at an elementary school.
Bogdana Chkoumbova, the Chief Education Officer for Chicago Public Schools, asserted that school personnel had successfully “kept ICE agents outside of the school” and emphasized that “we will not coordinate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.”
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker joined in, declaring, “After a week of Republicans spreading fear and chaos, the first reports of raids in Chicago are at an elementary school.”
However, there was a significant mistake: it was not ICE agents at the school, but Secret Service agents investigating a threat against a government official.
This revelation indicates that it was indeed Pritzker and his Democratic allies who were the ones “spreading fear and chaos.”
This pattern is not surprising: For years, the left, backed by sensational media, has consistently twisted facts to portray Democrats as virtuous and those who oppose them as outrageous villains.
Yet, they are repeatedly exposed.
In an attempt to depict Trump supporters as racist, New York Magazine published a piece last week that disparaged a Trump inauguration celebration organized by GOP Youth Advisory Council co-chair C.J. Pearson—a Black man—claiming it was “almost” entirely white, only to be swiftly called out for removing several non-white attendees from the cover image.
This exemplifies a blatant disregard for the experiences of minorities.
When they aren’t omitting vital truths, the media resorts to outright falsehoods: Back in September, The New York Times dismissed video proof and eyewitness testimonies that members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang had established a base in various apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado, terrorizing local residents. Its headline read: “How the False Story of a Gang ‘Takeover’ in Colorado Reached Trump.”
Whoops: The situation escalated to the point where a judge was compelled to shut down one of the besieged complexes due to the “imminent threat” the gang posed, especially after 14 gang members were arrested on kidnapping and torture allegations.
Trump-ordered raids in New York last week led to the apprehension of Tren leader Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, one of the individuals seen on video reportedly breaking into an apartment in Aurora.
You would think that after being unmasked as partial and unreliable so frequently, Democrats and their left-leaning media allies might reconsider their tactics.
But they remain boastful about their misinformation.
Take Jim Acosta, who’s being sidelined by CNN as the network acknowledges that relentless anti-Trump rhetoric no longer attracts viewers.
As he exited, he advised viewers: “Don’t succumb to the lies. Don’t give in to the fear. Hold on to the truth.”
Keep in mind: This is the same person who equated questioning Joe Biden’s mental fitness with birtherism and claimed Trump was “claiming a popular vote victory that did not occur,” despite the fact that Trump indeed won the popular vote.
Even as their falsehoods continue to be dismantled, progressives cling to their delusions: Trump is evil! We’re the good guys!
The silver lining: A significant portion of America appears eager to move forward without them.
