The role of lawfare and continuous attacks from Democrats in Trump’s victory
If Democrats take an honest look at the aftermath of the election, they will discover multiple key issues where they were significantly out of touch with voters.
Their flawed economic policies caused high inflation, they allowed in unvetted illegal migrants, and took on radical cultural stances, all of which Donald Trump capitalized on in his decisive win.
The situation was worsened by fielding weak candidates, starting with President Biden. His cognitive decline, hidden by the party, prompted leaders to replace him late, and Kamala Harris, despite a nearly $2 billion campaign spending, was revealed as unfit for the presidency.
These policy and personnel issues clearly influenced the outcome, and some Democrats are starting to acknowledge them, albeit reluctantly.
However, there is another aspect to the race that explains Trump’s success, one that Democrats are likely hesitant to address at this time.
These issues center around the party’s campaign to personally attack the Republican candidate, labeling him as a racist, fascist, and potential Hitler. This fabricated narrative, along with the weaponization of the Department of Justice and state prosecutors against Trump, was contemptible.
No former president had ever faced criminal charges, but Democrats pursued Trump with a total of 94 felonies in federal and state cases.
Relentless lawfare
There were attempts to bankrupt him in New York and bar him from the ballot in blue states, a disgraceful endeavor thwarted by the Supreme Court.
The Democrats behind these unprecedented assaults accused Trump of being a threat to democracy without a shred of shame. It was a massive deception.
Despite Trump winning despite these dirty tricks, it’s more accurate to say that he won because of them. Each charge boosted his support as the flimsy accusations backfired.
The conviction in the Manhattan case was a gross miscarriage of justice, with many legal experts, even Trump critics, deeming it unwarranted.
I hope the judge overseeing the case dismisses it before Trump assumes office to prevent injustice and disgrace to New York’s courts.
While Democrats seem reluctant to admit that demonizing Trump was a key factor in their defeat, there has been a noticeable shift. The comparisons to Hitler have disappeared.
Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley went from calling Trump a fascist to assuring that “America’s going to be OK.”
Biden, who once painted Trump and his supporters as a threat, now acknowledges the enduring American experiment and extends an olive branch to Trump.
Perhaps those like Gen. John Kelly, who labeled Trump as fascist, will retract their statements if they ever meet Trump again.
The media’s references to Hitler and fascism have also vanished, with even Trump critics seeking to reestablish a dialogue with him.
All an act on MSNBC
Despite the wild claims, the truth prevails, and those who propagated such extreme narratives should be held accountable for the repercussions.
Trump’s victory stands as a result of fair play and respect for American history, as he valiantly battled against a corrupt establishment and emerged triumphant.
Cheers to his glorious win, a lesson that will echo through the ages.
