The Unfounded Accusations Against Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant Highlight Why the US Should Not Recognize the ICC
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Learn more here.
Some may call it an International Kangaroo Court, reinforcing why the United States should never recognize the ICC.
These warrants are based on false accusations of “crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024.”
Essentially, these charges accuse them of “waging a humane and justified counterattack against genocidal butchers” — note the start date and use of “at least.”
The specific charges include “the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts.”
Contrary to the allegations, Gazans are not starving as claimed by an “expert” analysis that was later proven false by the United Nations itself.
This analysis neglected private-sector food deliveries and aid from the World Food Programme.
The real perpetrators of murder, persecution, and inhumane acts in Gaza are the terrorist groups like Hamas and their Iranian supporters.
Hamas uses innocent Gazans as human shields and hides weapons under hospitals.
Furthermore, they committed atrocities including attacking Israeli civilians on Oct. 7.
For institutions like the ICC, the distortion of reality is their goal.
This latest move is part of a global effort to delegitimize Israel fueled by anti-Semitic officials around the world.
After the Oct. 7 attacks, the world witnessed a disturbing trend of support for the perpetrators rather than the victims.
This propaganda has been enabled by the Biden administration’s alignment with the left of the Democratic party on this issue.
The ICC is tainted by anti-Semitism, similar to the United Nations, perpetuating lies and smears against those who defend themselves from those seeking their destruction.
