The Veep debate finally revealed the truth about Vance, Walz and our media’s bias.
Tuesday’s vice presidential debate was a significant revelation — not just about the two candidates, but also about the current state of the media.
Regarding the candidates: Tim Walz has now been exposed as a fantasist — someone who not only lies about trivial matters: he fabricated claims about serving in combat and being present in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square incident.
Perhaps in Minnesota, it’s possible to boast about being a coach without mentioning that you are an unpaid assistant coach due to a DUI conviction.
However, on the national stage, habitual dishonesty has serious implications and could potentially endanger the nation.
And no, Tim: there is no exemption for “hate speech” in the First Amendment.
It is evident that Walz is not prepared for the national spotlight – and this also raises questions about Kamala Harris’ judgment in selecting him as her running mate over the more capable Gov. Josh Shapiro from Pennsylvania.
On the other hand, Vance dispelled the “weird” label (originally coined by Walz but adopted by Democrats): when given the opportunity to address the nation, he demonstrated charm, politeness, and practicality.
He also showed sharpness by challenging the bias of CBS moderators Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell, including refuting a completely unfounded “fact check.”
The moderators repeatedly presented misinformation in their questions, but Vance skillfully corrected the facts and directed the discussion towards issues that actually matter to voters, rather than the agenda of the biased media elite.
Many expected Vance to outperform Walz, especially for those who had watched both candidates objectively.
However, most viewers were likely surprised because the mainstream media has not been portraying the candidates accurately, seemingly treating the Harris-Walz campaign’s narratives as irrefutable truths.
Unfortunately, this is not just a temporary side effect of Trump Derangement Syndrome; it seems that the existing bias is actually the cause of TDS.
Much of America’s media elite (as well as a significant portion of the overall US elite) are entrenched in an ideological bubble and instead of acknowledging this, they attack anyone who challenges their viewpoints.
How many reality checks will it take for them to wake up?
