The Violent Behavior of DNC Delegates Raises Concerns About Democratic Party’s Values
There has been yet another incident involving a Democratic party member participating in violent acts of domestic terrorism. In this case, a Democratic convention delegate was arrested for his role in the riots in Ferguson, Missouri, where a police officer was seriously injured.
Keith Rose, who was a St. Louis DNC alternate (but has since withdrawn), is accused of causing damage to a metal gate outside a besieged police station during unrest related to the death of Michael Brown.
It is concerning to see the close ties between leftist rioters and the Democratic Party.
It almost appears as if national Democrats are in support of such violent behavior. There are numerous instances where Democratic lawmakers have advocated for defunding the police, despite the violent outcomes.
Democratic prosecutors have been lenient towards individuals who have engaged in anti-Semitic attacks. Even the current Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, showed support for the riots in Minneapolis in 2020.
The party’s acceptance of political violence, which far exceeds the events of January 6th, is deeply troubling. There were expectations of Chicago ’68 style riots at the Democratic convention.
Even the most left-leaning members of the party find certain Democratic figures too conservative, as seen with the nickname “Bombala” given to Kamala Harris for not being supportive enough of Hamas.
The consequences of such violence are real, as seen in the case of police officer Travis Brown who may lose his life, leaving his twin daughters fatherless.
Americans should keep in mind the implications of this behavior as they head to the polls in November.
