This year’s Frat Boy Summer: A Response to an Epidemic of Arrogant, Entitled Women

Witness the “frat boys” unapologetically rescuing Old Glory, singing the national anthem, chanting “USA, USA, USA,” and mockingly ridiculing the campus activists who sport Hamas colors and barricade themselves in university buildings.

Heaven forbid! They seem like Trump supporters.

This demonstration of unbridled masculinity emerging in Gen Z is a challenge to the grand societal feminization project of the left, which brought this upon itself.

Frat Boy Summer is this year’s response to an outbreak of arrogant, entitled women who have been pampered all their lives and believe they are more intelligent and significant than they actually are.

It reflects the escalating political gap between men and women that has been evident in polls for some time. There is a 10-point difference on most issues between men and women.

Young unmarried women, in particular, tend to lean left, while young men are increasingly embracing conservatism.

Growing gap

The most recent ABC-IPSOS poll over the weekend revealed that Donald Trump is leading among under-30s by five points over Joe Biden, 48% to 43%. This lead is entirely attributed to Trump’s substantial 12-point advantage with young men, at 54% to 43%.

Youthful women favored Biden by three points, 44% to 41%, a rather lackluster show of support given the propaganda they have been exposed to about abortion and Trump’s conduct reminiscent of “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

It is a nightmare scenario for Biden, who has been relying on the youth vote to secure him the election as it did in 2020. Thus, he is desperately pandering to Gen Z.

The president is allocating billions in taxpayer funds for student debt relief, easing cannabis legislation, celebrating “trans kids” as heroes, and inviting gender-fluid TikTok influencers to White House events. This is not the Joe Biden of old.

However, none of these efforts can bridge the growing ideological divide between the sexes, rooted in the unfair treatment of boys and young men in recent years.

The gender imbalance crisis was severe when men outnumbered women up until the 1980s, but with now three women for every two men in college, we should celebrate. Go, girl!

According to Pew Research, there are now 1 million fewer men in college compared to 2011, with a quarter of male Ivy League students identifying as LGBT. This is sexual reparations forced upon many without their consent.

There exists a group of women tarnishing the reputation of their gender. These toxic individuals exploited the unjust advantages of affirmative action and manipulated the #MeToo movement to their detriment.

When accountability does find them, they are astonished, while the world watches their comeuppance quietly.

Karine Jean-Pierre epitomizes the entitled female.

The White House press secretary fails miserably at her job. She lacks preparedness and coherent responses to questions from reporters.

Yet instead of showing humility and improving, she gives interviews boasting about her prowess in “the hardest job in the White House… I’m a historic figure and I walk in history every day.”

Women’s colleges

The ongoing campus protests have laid bare the narcissism of these delusional women on social media:

  • Female students at the University of Virginia complaining: “It’s raining!” when asked to pack up their tents.
  • A radical student at Columbia University demanding food and water for barricaded comrades, insisting it is “basic humanitarian aid.” This student, Johannah King-Slutzky, a Ph.D. student, wore a keffiyeh around her neck, symbolizing terrorism chic.
  • An academic at Emory University screaming, “I am a professor!” while being arrested for assaulting a police officer. Caroline Fohlin stated, “I hit him on the head very lightly to get his attention and they grabbed me, threw me to the ground and arrested me,” as she was taken into custody.
  • An activist in California threatening to kill councilors who opposed a Gaza cease-fire resolution during a city council meeting, stating defiantly, “We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you.” This individual, Riddhi Patel, was seen in tears in court after being arrested and charged with threatening state officials.

These are not individuals worthy of admiration. They believe they are entitled to unearned privileges and protections.

The casualties in this scenario have been young men, especially those who are white, heterosexual, and wish to preserve their male identity.

They are the new overlooked demographic, ridiculed for their very existence.
Since they have nothing to lose and respect hasn’t been earned, the frat boys will be as impolite and obnoxious as they please. If their inherent masculinity is offensive, why bother with courtesy or chivalry? Instead, they embrace their power in a manner reminiscent of Trump.

Talking like Trump

Say what you will about Donald Trump, he undoubtedly exudes masculinity. His stride, speech, attire, and admiration for attractive women are out of sync in a world that shuns masculinity, yet that is likely part of his appeal—to men and women who still appreciate traditional masculinity.

Irrespective of Trump, Gallup polls indicate that the percentage of young men, aged 18 to 29, identifying as Republican has risen by 11 points in a decade, from 38% in 2013 to 49% in 2023, with a significant jump from 42% post-pandemic.

This demographic, whose formative years were shaped by COVID-19, perhaps rejected lockdown restrictions and the safety concerns pushed by female authorities more than girls did.

Regardless of the cause, young men aged 18-29 are now 30% more conservative than their ultra-liberal female counterparts.

According to polling data reported by The New York Times last week, women aged 18-34 have become progressively liberal and Democratic over the past decade.

Between 2012 and 2023, women shifted from 55% to 60% identifying as Democratic and from 29% to 22% Republican. They moved from 32% to 51% liberal and from 29% to 17% conservative.

“You stand no chance, old lady!” a frat boy type remarked to a woman attempting to wrestle him for a barricade at a protest at UCLA recently. Nature always asserts itself, and it isn’t always pretty.
