Thug AGs Respond to Walmart’s Actions
The battle against the harmful influence of DEI is far from over just because Donald Trump has returned to the Oval Office: Take note of the recent aggressive backlash against a corporation that dared to abandon this damaging racial ideology, megaretailer Walmart.
Walmart, as a reminder, implemented significant changes away from DEI following pressure from the determined activist Robby Starbuck — and these changes had been in the works for some time.
What’s happening now?
A group of 13 state attorneys general — including New York’s own relentless woke defender, Tish James, of course — has sent a stern letter expressing their disappointment in Walmart and urging the company to reconsider its decision.
“These changes are detrimental to business and to Walmart’s customer base,” the letter proclaims.
Nope, absolutely not.
Consumers don’t want a lecture on morality when they’re buying detergent or a new lawnmower; both businesses and their shareholders suffer when they divert their focus from the bottom line.
The letter’s authors clearly imply that unless the retail giant resumes appeasing the far-left faction of the Democratic Party, it could face troubling lawsuits ahead.
This entire incident serves as a stark reminder that the DEI movement won’t disappear without a struggle.
There are too many mediocre senior VPs, loud politicians, opportunistic activists, and dubious consultants who have pinned their careers on it.
Thus, it’s encouraging that President Trump has signed an executive order aimed at eliminating DEI from the federal government.
However, consumers, vigilant journalists, and reasonable elected officials at both city and state levels across the nation need to remain aware that their work is ongoing.
Thankfully, Starbuck’s string of victories against John Deere, Harley Davidson, Caterpillar, and Ford has demonstrated that the little guy can succeed in this struggle.
There’s plenty of reason to be hopeful that common sense and the core values of real America will eventually prevail.
