Trump’s Withdrawal from WHO: A Positive Move for America’s Health

Farewell to the World Health Organization, or more aptly, the Woke Health Oligarchy — a collective of self-proclaimed, anti-American scientists and diplomats who aim to use the United States as their financial support.

On his first day in office, President Trump announced the U.S. withdrawal from WHO, prompting scientists from various universities and think tanks to raise alarms, incorrectly asserting that Trump’s decision would isolate the United States from global efforts to identify and manage infectious diseases.

It seems Trump is feeling the pressure. On Saturday, he mentioned the possibility of reconsidering his stance and aiming to reform WHO instead.

Stay firm, Mr. President. WHO’s track record is shameful.

Founded to establish a global framework for data sharing and disease combat, WHO faced its greatest challenge with the virus originating from China during the winter of 2019-2020, revealing itself as a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party.

WHO appeased Beijing, colluding to keep the virus’s spread under wraps, likely resulting in millions of additional deaths.

As Elise Stefanik, Trump’s candidate for UN ambassador, stated in Congress, “We cannot tolerate entities that have been co-opted by CCP propaganda.”

Let’s review the facts.

Lie No. 1: In December 2019, January, and February 2020, while Chinese officials arrested locals discussing the Wuhan virus and suppressed information from leaving the country, WHO’s director-general, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, praised the Chinese for their “openness to sharing information” and falsely claimed that “China has bought the world time.”

Lie No. 2: Ghebreyesus bowed to China, postponing the declaration of COVID-19 as an international health emergency until February 2020, after it had already spread to 18 countries.

Lie No. 3: WHO initiated an investigation into the virus’s origins but allowed China to block WHO investigators from interviewing Chinese scientists or victims or even accessing patient data.

The preliminary report from this farcical investigation deemed a lab leak highly unlikely.

While the scientific community overlooks these fabrications and presents a rosy view of WHO, insisting that the U.S. will be less safe, this is ludicrous. Dependence on WHO’s deceit has made us all less secure.

Numerous scientists, including WHO’s staunchest supporter, Anthony Fauci, continue to endorse the ongoing push for a global pandemic treaty.

This treaty proposal is a dangerous and confiscatory plan mandating the U.S. to reserve a staggering 20% of medical supplies for WHO during a global crisis.

All under the guise of equity.

WHO — effectively acting on behalf of China — would dictate which nations receive the supplies, obstructing Washington from prioritizing American needs.

In keeping with globalist ideology, Harvard health expert Jesse Bump argues that the treaty aims to rectify “the shameful and selfish conduct of wealthy nations during the COVID pandemic.”

Withdrawing from WHO is a positive first step, but the Trump administration must also reform federal health agencies, eliminating the globalist perspective that led to the misuse of billions abroad while failing to safeguard Americans.

President Barack Obama and CDC director Thomas Frieden initiated an America Last approach. Obama allocated billions to develop laboratories and disease monitoring across Africa, while U.S. health departments lacked those essential resources.

When Zika emerged in 2016, Frieden directed staff and funds for mosquito control in South America but denied assistance to local U.S. health departments, claiming mosquito management was a local responsibility.

Tell that to a mother grieving over a brain-damaged child.

During Trump’s initial term, the repercussions of globalism on health received minimal attention.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted significant deficiencies in American public health.

Currently, the CDC maintains over 1,600 employees working in 60 countries.

David Weldon, Trump’s nominee to lead the CDC, must reassure the public that the CDC will prioritize American health needs.

Ultimately, regardless of any possible illegal actions taken by Fauci, NIH leader Francis Collins, and Ecohealth Alliance CEO Peter Daszak to cover up their funding for gain-of-function research in Wuhan, their initial decision to finance lethal research at a lab operated by the Chinese Communist Party reveals the peril of globalist principles.

Globalists fail to recognize the importance of nations. To them, one is as good as another.

This mindset jeopardizes American health and national security.

Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of placing globalism before loyalty to the United States.
