UN Climate Summit: Clear the Path for an Amazon Rainforest Highway!
Is it time to save the rainforest . . . by bulldozing it?
This illustrates the clueless privilege of the global “climate” elite: In their misguided wisdom, these so-called defenders of the planet have destroyed a vast area of pristine rainforest in Brazil to construct a four-lane highway meant for the anticipated influx of influential attendees at the upcoming COP30 climate summit in Belem.
If it weren’t real, this story could easily be a comedic masterpiece akin to Evelyn Waugh’s work or at least something from Mike Judge.

Yet, this is all too real, with plenty of images showcasing the ravaged forest.
This revelation follows The Post’s exclusive report highlighting how World Bank officials—who are among the loudest proponents of climate awareness—emitted an astounding 1,500 metric tons of carbon during their travels to and from COP29 (the previous year’s climate event) in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This amount equates to the annual carbon output of 200 US homes.
Perhaps they were having trouble with their Zoom connections? It can be quite difficult.
Moreover, former “climate envoy” John Kerry is infamous for his frequent private jet flights, boldly claiming that it’s the only feasible option for “someone like me” (i.e., a wealthy Democrat with delusions of moral superiority).
We don’t claim to be experts.
However, a simple back-of-the-envelope calculation indicates that if your primary aim is to reduce CO2 emissions, then producing more CO2 is hardly the way to achieve that goal.
Additionally, hosting extravagant gatherings where every minor dictator and NGO figure flies in luxury class or higher to congratulate themselves on their efforts to enforce cold showers, subpar dishwashers, and cricket protein on the world’s less fortunate won’t solve the issues either.
Until our self-proclaimed moral leaders come to grips with this, we should expect continuing rainforest destruction and carbon emissions.
At this rate, perhaps they’ll even go as far as to target the whales.
For rational individuals, this serves as Exhibit One Billion that the climate-change industry is exactly what it seems.
