World Central Kitchen aid workers were killed as a result of Hamas actions.

Israel has acknowledged the mistaken airstrike that resulted in the deaths of seven aid workers in Gaza late Monday. However, the ultimate responsibility lies with Hamas, the group that initiated this war and deliberately causes innocent deaths.

Following the tragic event, various individuals and President Biden criticized Israel for not adequately protecting aid workers who were delivering essential assistance to civilians.

The IDF has worked diligently to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza amid the challenging urban-warfare environment, often putting their own troops at risk.

However, Hamas deliberately operates in densely populated areas to create confusion and increase civilian casualties. The terrorist group seeks to turn public opinion against Israel.

It is important to remember the atrocities committed by Hamas that sparked the current conflict. The Western left’s support for the terrorists as “heroic resistance” fighters following the breaking of the ceasefire on Oct. 7 is troubling.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed regret over the unintentional deaths of the aid workers and vowed to prevent such incidents from happening again.

While Israel aims to prevent civilian casualties, Hamas continues to provoke conflict and target innocent civilians. Leftist accusations of genocide during this war ignore the reality that Hamas is the group seeking to commit such heinous acts.
