Yet another anti-police organization revealed as a leftist scam

Yet another group has been exposed as scamming a nation full of guilt-ridden individuals and corporations.

The tentacles of leftism exploited the tragic death of George Floyd to drain money from wealthy individuals, corporate PR departments, and emotionally vulnerable individuals in the name of social justice.

Brandon Anderson, the founder of Raheem AI, was among these alleged scammers, making empty promises he had no intention of keeping.

With a touching story about a friend named Raheem, supposedly killed by the Oklahoma City Police in 2007, along with the fantastical idea of replacing cops with an app, his organization managed to pull in $4.4 million in donations.

Raheem AI’s proposal to create a “Yelp for police” enticed technology-focused charities and major liberal nonprofits like the Kresge and Annenberg foundations, who donated $1.6 million.

However, this influx of money only enriched Anderson himself, as he used the funds to give himself a $160,000 salary, spent $46,000 of charity money on ride-share services, $80,000 on luxury vacation rentals, and many other questionable expenses.

Even the foundation of this imaginative organization was based on a lie, as the Oklahoma state medical examiner confirmed that they had no record of any police-involved shooting matching Anderson’s fabricated story.

It’s not surprising that organizations like Raheem AI were designed to attract donations from major philanthropic entities. What’s surprising is that more of these schemes haven’t been exposed for their failure to deliver concrete results and mismanagement of funds.

There may be genuine issues plaguing many police departments across the country that pose risks to public safety and well-being.

One of the most well-known organizations, Black Lives Matter, faced criticism for spending on a California mansion and insider security contracts rather than their purported causes. Local chapters with the same name are also accused of financial mismanagement.

Meanwhile, Robin DiAngelo, known for shaming white individuals and author of “White Fragility,” is now facing plagiarism accusations.

Does any of this really come as a surprise?

The true victims here are not typically the corporate donors, who often gave money for PR purposes.

The real victims are the individuals who could have benefited from necessary changes if the funds had gone into responsible hands.
