Wildfires in Los Angeles have taken at least 10 lives and have ravaged close to 10,000 structures, with more than 34,000 acres of land scorched. The Palisades and Eaton fires are recognized as the most catastrophic in the city’s history. Although wind speeds temporarily decreased on Thursday, red flag warnings reemerged overnight, hindering firefighting efforts.
