$9 Million Settlement Proposed for Nursing Home Residents Displaced During Hurricane Ida

In 2021, several elderly residents from seven nursing homes in Louisiana were relocated to a cramped and inadequately equipped warehouse to endure Hurricane Ida. These residents are now being presented with the opportunity to receive a portion of a settlement totaling nearly $9 million following their lawsuit.
