Starliner Astronauts Safely Return
Two seasoned NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who spent nine months aboard the International Space Station, returned to Earth on March 18.
Boeing’s Starliner mission, originally planned for an 8-day duration, faced complications following its launch on June 5 last year, rendering it unsafe for crew return and causing a 296-day space hiatus.
They ultimately returned home aboard a SpaceX spacecraft, led by Elon Musk.
This event stirred political controversy earlier this year when President Donald Trump and Musk asserted that former President Joe Biden had neglected the astronauts, claiming Musk could have retrieved them the previous year if not for bureaucratic obstacles. NASA strongly disputes this, attributing the delay to necessary hardware evaluations.

U.S. Classifies Tesla Dealership Attacks as Domestic Terrorism
The U.S. government has issued warnings regarding a rise in attacks on Tesla dealerships, categorizing these incidents as federal crimes that could result in a 20-year sentence.
“If you participate in this wave of domestic terrorism targeting Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will ensure you are prosecuted,” warned U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi in a statement on March 21.

Judge Halts Deportation of Pro-Palestinian Student
A federal judge has intervened to stop the deportation of an Indian student at Georgetown University accused by the Department of Homeland Security of links to the Hamas terrorist organization.
Badar Khan Suri faces allegations of “spreading Hamas propaganda and promoting anti-Semitism on social media.”
As a foreign exchange student married to an American citizen, Suri has been held in Alexandria, Louisiana.
The U.S. government classifies Hamas as a terrorist organization and is taking measures against anti-Semitism.
Additionally, Columbia University student activist Mahmoud Khalil, known for organizing student protests against Israel’s response to Hamas’s October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks, has also been detained and is awaiting deportation.
