Actor Chance Perdomo tragically killed in a motorcycle accident | Entertainment and Arts update
British-American actor Chance Perdomo has tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident at the young age of 27.
Perdomo, who was born in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, England, was well-known for his role as Andre Anderson in the superhero series Gen V, a spin-off of the popular TV show The Boys.
His representative, in a statement provided to NBC, expressed, “His love for the arts and zest for life touched everyone who knew him, and his warmth will live on in those he held dear.”
Authorities have confirmed that he was the sole individual involved in the crash.
No further details have been disclosed, but reports indicate that the accident occurred in Upstate New York as Perdomo was en route to Toronto.
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the producers of Gen V, shared their disbelief, stating, “We are struggling to comprehend this loss.
“For those who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him, Chance was always gracious and cheerful, a talented performer, and above all, a kind-hearted individual.”

Perdomo was also recognized for his portrayal of Ambrose Spellman, a pansexual warlock in the series Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, a darker adaptation of Sabrina The Teenage Witch on Netflix.

His character in the series was Sabrina’s cousin and often served as a voice of reason on the show, which concluded in 2020 after four seasons.
In an interview with them.us in 2018, Perdomo revealed a personal connection to the role, stating: “I used to get into many fights until I channeled my energy into acting. My grades improved, and I eventually became the student union president.
“Previously, I found myself resembling Ambrose, feeling trapped and unsure of how to release my energy.
“Yet, he remains open and affectionate.
“I resonate with that more than ever now, especially after being away from my family for an extended period, which has truly put things into perspective.
“Regardless of the occasion, if I receive a FaceTime call or message from my mom or brothers, I drop everything to respond immediately. Family comes first for Ambrose, and I share the same sentiment.”
Perdomo was honored as a Bafta Breakthrough Brit in 2019 and received a best actor Bafta nomination for his role in the BBC’s production Killed By My Debt.
