Actor Johnny Wactor, known for his role on General Hospital, killed by thieves during car robbery – Entertainment News

Johnny Wactor, a former actor on General Hospital, was tragically shot and killed by thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car. He was 37 years old.

The incident occurred at around 3am on Saturday in downtown Los Angeles (11am UK time) when Wactor approached three men by his car, according to the police.

One of the men opened fire, resulting in Wactor’s death later at the hospital.

The suspects fled the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made.

Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, mentioned that her son had just left a nearby rooftop bar and mistook the men for tow truck drivers when he saw them by his car. She told NBC News that the incident happened because he had parked in an unfamiliar spot on the street.

Describing him as “a real moral example to everyone who knew him,” Wactor’s agent, David Shaul, shared that the actor always maintained a positive attitude and strived to do his best, even in the toughest times of his career.

“Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever,” said Mr. Shaul in a statement on Sunday.
