Amazon founder Bezos engaged to Lauren Sanchez | US News
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his partner Lauren Sanchez are engaged, according to reports.
Ms Sanchez, a 53-year-old former broadcaster, was pictured with billionaire Bezos on his $500m superyacht off the coast of Cannes on Monday.
Last week the couple were spotted sailing around the Spanish island of Mallorca.
It was reported that Bezos had proposed on the yacht.
Billionaire Bezos was introduced to Sanchez in 2016 when she was an anchor of Fox’s Good Morning LA.
They met through Bezos’s friend and her then-husband Patrick Whitesell, who runs a Hollywood talent agency.
Bezos and Sanchez began an affair, which was revealed by the National Enquirer in 2019.
Around the same time, Bezos’s wife of 25 years, MacKenzie, said on social media that she was divorcing him, although both insisted the split was amicable.

The affair also ended Sanchez’s 13-year marriage to Whitesell.
Bezos had four children with his first wife, who won more than $35bn (£28bn) in the divorce settlement and later married a science teacher, although that marriage ended in September 2022.
Sanchez has three children from previous relationships.
