After eight years of what has been termed one of the longest and most contentious divorces in Hollywood, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally come to a settlement.
Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, released a statement noting, “Over eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt.
“She and the children departed from all the shared properties with Mr. Pitt, and since then, her focus has been on healing and finding peace for their family.
“This is only one segment of a lengthy process that began eight years ago.
“To be honest, Angelina feels exhausted, but she is relieved that this particular chapter is concluded.”
Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, were one of the most prominent pairs in Hollywood for 12 years and share six children together.
