Another Court Halts Trump’s Directive to Prohibit Funding for Transgender Youth Procedures

A federal judge in Maryland issued a block on a restraining order on February 13.

A federal judge has halted President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at cutting off funding to organizations that provide transgender procedures to individuals under 19 years old.

The temporary restraining order was issued by Judge Lauren King of the Western District of Washington on February 14, following a previous order from a Maryland judge the day before.

Several doctors have teamed up with Washington state, Oregon, and Minnesota in filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
