Arrest Made in Luxury Car Theft Involving Miami Athletes Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder

MIAMI—Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of three luxury vehicles from a residence where Miami quarterback Carson Beck and basketball player Hanna Cavinder were present.

Tykwon Anderson, 20, was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon. He is among four individuals charged with the theft of the cars, which include a Lamborghini, as indicated by an arrest report.

Deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence early Thursday morning. Beck and Cavinder informed investigators that a silver Mercedes-Benz AMG, a red Lamborghini Urus, and a white Range Rover were stolen while they were asleep.

Police managed to recover the Mercedes-Benz and the Range Rover within a few hours, but the Lamborghini remained missing.

According to police, just before 3 a.m. Thursday, Anderson and three other masked individuals arrived at Beck’s residence. One of the suspects managed to enter a vehicle parked in the driveway and utilized the garage door opener to access the house and steal the keys for all three cars.

The suspects allegedly drove to Beck’s home in a rental car linked to Anderson, authorities reported. Investigators utilized the rental car’s tracking information to locate Anderson and confirm his presence at the scene of the incident.

Anderson faces charges of grand theft, vehicle theft, and burglary. He is currently being held at the Miami-Dade jail with no bail set as of now. Online court records do not indicate an attorney has been appointed for Anderson.
