Ava Kris Tyson, one of YouTube star MrBeast’s friends and collaborators, has decided to leave the channel following grooming allegations, which she denies.
The YouTuber, 28, was accused earlier this month of sending inappropriate messages to a minor, reportedly a 13-year-old, when she was 20 years old.
Tyson, who has refuted the allegations, announced that she and the team have mutually agreed that she should permanently step away from all MrBeast-related activities and social media to concentrate on her family and mental health.
“I want to apologize if my previous behavior or comments have caused hurt or offense to anyone. It was not my intention,” she stated.
Tyson further added, “I have never groomed anyone. The individual mentioned in these accusations has publicly stated that they are false.
“Nevertheless, I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have hurt with my inappropriate social media posts, past actions, and to those who feel let down by my previous online behavior.
“Creating a narrative that my actions extended beyond bad jokes is heinous and untrue.
“Over the years, I have come to realize that my old sense of humor is unacceptable. I cannot change the past, but I am committed to continuing to work on myself.
“I do not want these allegations to affect the many individuals who work at MrBeast, which is why I have taken this step.”

The allegations were initially made public in a YouTube video last month.
The alleged victim, who was identified online, stated that the claims of grooming against Tyson are false and a distortion of reality.
“Ava never did anything wrong, she simply made some edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of,” he emphasized.
“This situation distract from the actual exploitation of children occurring online daily. I have not been a victim of the actions alleged in these videos or at any time.”
In 2023, Tyson announced that she is transgender and has begun hormone therapy as part of her gender affirmation journey. She has consistently faced transphobic harassment online.
MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, has not responded to the allegations.
