Bessent: An Economic ‘Detox’ Doesn’t Necessarily Mean a Recession

On Thursday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent expressed that he was not worried about the recent fluctuations on Wall Street. In an interview with CNBC, he mentioned that the Trump administration is concentrating on achieving medium- and long-term benefits for both the market and American citizens.
