Biden condemns sick violence at Trump rally shooting, says it has no place in America | US News



President Joe Biden has condemned the violence that occurred at a Donald Trump rally, stating that “there is no place in America for this kind of violence.”

During a press briefing in Delaware, he expressed his dismay, calling the incident “sick.”

The Butler County District attorney informed the Associated Press (AP) that the gunman responsible for the attack had died, and a rally attendee had also lost their life. Additionally, one person is in critical condition.

President Biden emphasized that such events cannot be tolerated, saying, “We cannot allow for this to be happening.”

He commended the Secret Service for their response and urged everyone to denounce the violence.

Biden also mentioned that he had tried to reach out to Trump, who was reportedly with his doctors and doing well.

He expressed his hope of speaking to him later that evening.
