Biden Proposes Monument to Frances Perkins, the First Female Cabinet Secretary

On Monday, President Joe Biden is set to sign a proclamation to create a national monument in tribute to Frances Perkins, the late Labor Secretary during the FDR administration. Perkins was the first woman to be appointed to a presidential Cabinet position and played a pivotal role in the New Deal initiatives.
