Bill Clinton Hospitalized with Fever | US News



Former President Bill Clinton is currently hospitalized in Washington DC after experiencing a fever.

Mr. Clinton, age 78, has been admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for “testing and observation.”

Angel Ureña, who serves as the deputy chief of staff for the 42nd president, informed Sky’s US affiliate NBC News that he is in “good spirits and thankful for the care he is receiving.”

Another insider close to Mr. Clinton indicated that the condition is “not urgent.”

“The former president is going to be okay,” the insider shared. “He developed a fever and sought medical evaluation. He remains awake and alert.”

Mr. Clinton was actively campaigning this year in support of Vice President Kamala Harris and has been promoting his book, *Citizen*.

The former president served two terms from January 1993 until January 2001, and he also spoke at the Democratic National Convention held in Chicago this past summer.

After leaving office, Mr. Clinton underwent two heart surgeries in New York, including a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004, and the placement of two stents in a coronary artery in 2010.

He was also hospitalized for six days in 2021 due to a urological infection that had entered his bloodstream.
