BlackRock Acquires Panama Canal Ports for $22.8 Billion

Following weeks of President Donald Trump criticizing China’s involvement with the Panama Canal, an investment consortium led by BlackRock is said to be acquiring majority ownership in ports on either side of the canal for a total of $22.8 billion.
