Britney Spears accuses paramedics of arriving ‘illegally’ after ankle injury at Chateau Marmont | Entertainment and Arts News
Britney Spears has addressed concerns about her health, following an incident at the Chateau Marmont in LA where paramedics were called.
The 42-year-old singer took to social media to share her side of the story regarding the events at the luxury hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
Paparazzi photos showed Spears outside the hotel wearing pyjama shorts, wrapped in a blanket, and holding a pillow.
In an Instagram post, Spears clarified that the news was false and asserted that she is getting stronger each day.
She also mentioned an ankle injury she sustained that night, expressing feeling harassed by the paramedics who arrived at her door. She added that she was planning to move to Boston.
In a later post, Spears shared a video showing her swollen ankle and explaining how the incident occurred, mentioning that the paramedics’ response was unnecessary and all she needed was ice.
Spears is now reportedly “safe and at home,” according to sources close to her who spoke to NBC News.
The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed sending paramedics to the Chateau Marmont after a report of an injured adult female, although they did not specifically identify Spears as the individual in question.
The call was received at 12.42 am, and paramedics left at 1.17 am without calling law enforcement or providing medical assistance to the individual.
No immediate comment has been provided by the LAFD regarding Spears’s claims on social media.

The incident occurred shortly after Spears’s divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized. The former couple, who were married for just 14 months, recently reached a divorce settlement.
Additionally, Spears recently settled the controversial 13-year conservatorship with her father, which came to an end in late 2021.
Last year, Spears also released a tell-all memoir – The Woman In Me – providing insights into her career, relationships, and personal struggles.
