An individual has been taken into custody on suspicion of committing a homicide against their father close to a waterfall in the United States.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is currently looking into the death of the individual near Stoddard Canyon Falls in California’s San Gabriel Mountains.

Law enforcement officers were called to the scene of an assault with a deadly weapon on Saturday and discovered an individual with injuries to the upper torso.

Unfortunately, the individual was pronounced deceased at the location.

This individual, identified as the son of the victim and aged 19, was then apprehended on suspicion of murder.
