Could Trump’s conviction impact the outcome of the US election? | US News

Donald Trump has made history as the first former American president to be convicted of a crime.

A New York jury found him guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up hush money he paid to bury a sex scandal ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

In this episode of Sky News Daily, Tom Cheshire discusses with Sky’s US correspondent James Matthews about the trial proceedings and the potential implications for this year’s White House race.

Political commentator and Trump biographer Michael Wolff also joins the podcast to analyze the choice facing US voters between an increasingly unpopular incumbent or a convicted criminal.
