Democratic Senator: “I’ll Work ‘Through Christmas’ to Counter Trump”

Senator Patty Murray, a Democrat from Washington and chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, stated on Friday that she is willing to stay in Washington, D.C., “through Christmas” in order to counter President-elect Donald Trump’s request to eliminate negotiated provisions from a continuing resolution meant to fund the federal government.
